Alistair is crazy with excitement for Christmas, although we're not sure he understands that it is tomorrow. He has been excited all month. This afternoon we went to church. Most Sundays, Alistair is downstairs in the nursery. Today he was in church with us. It was a special Christingle service for kids. I went up to the front of church with Alistair and all the other children in the congregation to hold a lighted Christingle (an orange with a candle, ribbon, and four gum drops attached with toothpicks) and sing Away in a Manger. I had to blow Alistair's candle out because he wanted to "Do it all by myself," without any assistance from Mommy, which meant that Mommy's hair was about to catch on fire at any moment.
That's a beautiful picture of the two of you!
