Christmas Eve is here! We went to the afternoon Christingle service at church. The kids enjoyed the children's choir, and Alistair went up for the children's homily. The highlight of the service is when the children all stand up at the front of the church in a big circle and sing Away in a Manager while holding their lighted Christingle. Alistair did a fabulous job holding this year (unlike two years ago when he nearly lit my hair on fire). Then Alistair and Charlotte at the candy off the toothpicks of the Christingle.
After dinner we watched the Charlie Brown Christmas special and the kids got into their pajamas. Well, Alistair got into his pajamas, but Charlotte did gymnastic/yoga moves around the living room while wearing a diaper. We watched Santa's progress on Google's Santa tracker before going to bed.
