After Alistair helped Colin make me a wonderful pancake, scrambled egg, and fruit salad breakfast (served in bed of course), we went for a walk in Marsh Billings Rockefeller park. It was an absolutely gorgeous day today. When we reached the Pogue, the kids wanted to throw rocks in the water. As we walked around, Charlotte would stop every ten steps, announce "I want to throw rocks in the water," and then do just that.
We walked to the big field behind the Pogue were we had a picnic lunch (complete with Muriel's donuts).
We had a wonderful time. The kids were worn out by the time we got back to the car. (Charlotte tucker out before then, I carried her on my shoulders most of the way back, downhill. Colin had carried her on his shoulders uphill.) They both fell asleep in the car on the way home.
