After two somewhat rainy and humid days, the sun shone and the breeze was pleasant and dry. We took Grandpa and Grandad for a walk in Goodwin Park. Charlotte pretended the path was hot lava and she tried to walk just on rocks. Alistair brought a hiking stick he found this morning in the woods in our yard. We walked along Great Brook and walked down to a spot where there are some large boulders in the brook.
We then wandered along one of the paths through the woods, coming out halfway up the ski hill. Alistair wanted to hike up to the star at the top of the hill. Phew, it's steep, but you get a great view of Lebanon. Alistair was excited to see his school.
When we got to the car, Alistair asked where his walking stick was. Oops. We left it at the top of the hill.
