The sun has been shining this week, and it has felt like summer. This afternoon we went with Grandad to Riverview Farms to pick apples. A pair of Belgian horses pulled our wagon up to the back of the orchard where the kids picked a bunch of honeycrisp apples.
Evelyn didn't eat the apple that she is holding in the picture above, but she did start eating Charlotte's apple when she was done with it. Down at stand, the kids weighed random pumpkins as well as themselves before picking out some gourds to take home for decoration. We also cut some sunflowers too. Busy afternoon.
Evelyn is still working on her apple.
