While Alistair and Charlotte went off for their first skiing lessons of the year, I took Evelyn outside to play in the snow for the first time. She seemed puzzled for a minute and then was digging in the fluffy snow and eating some off her mitten. (Oh dear, just like her older siblings.) She loved it. She didn't seem to like the snow on her boots and kept brushing it off. I then put her in the sled and took for a little ride.
