The weather today was glorious. After the morning fog lifted, the skies were deep blue and the temperature reached the mid 70's. Evelyn is unfortunately sick, but we went outside at lunchtime and sat on the wooden steps by the playhouse. Evelyn was barefoot and wearing her navy blue unicorn pajamas. We watched little chickadees in the trees and tried to catch the falling maple and elm leaves. We also watched the planes (three in total) coming into land at the airport. I put on Evelyn's shoes. She said "Hand" so I could help her up the wooden steps. She played on the deck and said "Catch you" when she wanted to go down the slide. She is so cute. It makes me sad to think that she is going to grow up so fast.
The weather was so warm that the kids put on their bathing suits and played with the water squirters. Brook and Logan came over too.
