Gardening Helper

My gardening assistant, Evelyn, helped me plant some last minute daffodil bulbs on Saturday.  It's been unseasonably warm this week.  On Saturday morning, we played at the park, without coats, and the kids played in the backyard Saturday afternoon without coats.  I think that was the last of the warm weather.  This morning we woke up to snow and had to scrape the ice off the car.

It is so fun to see the world through Evelyn's eyes.  She doesn't remember snow, so she was fascinated this morning.  Several times she pointed to our snow covered car and said, "Mommy, look. Car."  When we got out of the car at the Co-op, she pointed to the cars with bits of snow on the roof, "Look, Mommy. Car."  After shopping she pointed to a snow covered planter and said "Uh-oh."  Very cute.
