We went to St. Thomas's Christingle Christmas Eve service this afternoon. Every year, Guy has an imaginative way to bring baby Jesus to the creche. One year it was a train, and another year it was a Lego robot. This year, two live sheep brought baby Jesus to the manger. Evelyn was thrilled. After the homily, the kids all stood in a large circle, holding their Christingles. It is so beautiful to see the children holding their lit Christingles in the candlelit church, singing Away in the Manger.
When we got home, we took a picture of the kids in Yia-Yia's lion chair. (It's beginning to be somewhat of a tradition.)
