Charlotte has been asking all week when we were going to make Colin's cake. So yesterday afternoon Charlotte and Evelyn helped me make the carrot cake. They both like to "be mixy" so Evelyn mixed the dry ingredients and Charlotte mixed the carrots, raisins and nuts.
And today we celebrated Colin's birthday. For his birthday, he took Alistair and Charlotte skiing at Whaleback. Then after lunch, we had cake, and then gave Colin his birthday present. Colin had bought himself a Lego set. He wanted to build Lego with the kids for his birthday, so he gave them each a Lego set. The kids screamed with delight, and then got right down to building.
