Christmas Celebrations

We've had a busy day.  While Colin took Alistair and Charlotte to swimming (and then Charlotte to Girl Scouts), Evelyn and I went to the Methodist church's holiday bazaar.  We selected a tin of cookies from the cookie walk and randomly bought some baby spider plants.  Evelyn was excited by a little goody bag of trinkets a lady gave her.

After lunch we waited in line to see Santa and Mrs. Claus.  Charlotte struggled to think of something to ask Santa for, in the end deciding on a Lego Elf dragon.  The train layout was different this year, and Alistair took a lot of photos and videos of the train.  When they went up to see Santa, Evelyn, not surprisingly, didn't say much at all, finally whispering something to Santa.

We then took a horse drawn wagon ride around the Green, alighting in front of the Upper Valley Music Center, where a choir was singing Christmas carols and hymns.

After listening to the choir, we walked past the yet unlit Christmas Tree to AVA Gallery. We visited a few galleries before going to Charlotte's exhibit.  She has three pieces based on a photograph of flowering heather.  She also has a fun volcano that we will have to wait until Thursday to make erupt.
