Moose!

Today, while Alistair and I were on the rail trail, we saw a female moose walking down the trail towards us. When I first saw it, I thought it was a tall, lanky dog like a great dane. But then as it came closer I realized it was a moose. We moved to the side of the trail, and I picked up Alistair, bike and all. The moose then left the trail and went down the bank to the river. It was the first moose I'd seen since we moved here, and for once I didn't have my camera.
