Charlotte was baptised today at St. Thomas. In celebration of All Saints day, the choir sang Gabrielle Faure's requiem. Charlotte fell asleep right before the baptism part of the service. She slept through the baptismal covenant, the processional to the baptismal font, the baptism, and marking the sign of the cross on her forehead. She woke up while Guy was still holding her and was quite content to stay there.
Charlotte's godparents are Colleen, Paul, and Kristen. Auntie Patty also came from Chicago to celebrate with us, and of course Grandpa and Grandad were there too. The sun was shining. It was a beautiful day.
