Mother's Day Festivities

After church, we celebrated Mother's Day by going out for lunch at Yama's and then going to the Pow Wow at Dartmouth for a short time.

The waiters at Yama's are great with kids.  They all smile and interact with the kids throughout the meal.  One of our waiters brought Charlotte some plastic cups to play with.  We also like going there because Charlotte can eat off the menu.  We order her food off the sushi menu -Tamago (egg omlet on rice) and Kappa Maki (cucumber and rice) - and edamame.  Alistair likes the sweet potato noodles, but today he was more interested in blowing bubbles with his straw.  He is getting better with chopsticks.

After lunch, we walked to the Darmouth Green to listen to the Pow Wow drumming and singing and to watch the people dressed in beautiful costumes dance to the rhythmic music.
