We celebrated the 4th of July at Billings Farm. They had the usual wagon rides and talks about the animals, and they also had colonial music, readings of famous political speaches (the Declaration of Independence, the Gettysburg Address, etc.), and debates. They also had sack races, egg tosses, and a spelling bee. Alistair is a bit young for those, but he had fun making a flag (with a little help from Mom with the stripes).
