Soggy Morning After the Storm

The waterfall in our basement stopped flowing in the night.  The sump pump is still working hard to remove water.  We went outside to check on things out front when we went to get the paper.  Our neighbor across the street was out with his shovel.  He shoveled a path through the dirt to the drain in front of our house to divert some of the water that was flowing down his and Dan's driveways.  The drain on their side of the street is full of mud.  Our is thankfully open.

 

 

Then we went to investigate the back yard.  Several little streams were flowing where I have not seen them before.  The birthday boy had fun diverting the streams and making some waterfalls.
