Today Grandpa and I took the kids downtown (while Colin was already downtown, working). We had lunch at Water Tower Place, did a little shopping at the Lego store, and then went up to the observation deck of the John Hancock Building.
Alistair is proudly showing his pressed penny in the picture above. He enjoyed watching all the cars driving on the street "the size of mice" he later told Colin. Charlotte kept saying that she wanted to go to the beach, and then would try and climb up one of the diagonal support beams.
