First Bike Rides

It is finally beginning to feel like spring is just around the corner.  The snow is beginning to melt in places and the sun has been shining.  After watching the Ronde van Vlaanderen this morning, Alistair wanted to go out on his peddle bike.  (We have two hand me down peddle bikes that were given to us by one of Colin's coworkers.)  I was amazed.  After about five minutes, he was going just fine.  Maybe not the next Fabian Cancellara, but he was doing great.  (His bike helmet is too small, so he is wearing his skiing helmet.)

  

  

Charlotte of course wanted in on the action.  Seeing that Alistair was on his peddle bike, she wasted no time claiming his old balance bike as her own.  She put on her pink helmet and went around the block with Colin. You can see just at the end of the video that she takes off down the sidewalk (and out of view).  After that section she told Colin that she was going too fast.
