Pirate Party! Arrggghh!

Today we had a Pirate themed birthday party for Alistair and Charlotte.  We had pirate snacks (cannonballs, barnacles, pirates gold, fish and chips. pirates rope, fruit swords, and of course Pirates Booty), and Alyssa made balloon swords for the kids.

Alistair led his friends on a treasure hunt that went up in the woods and then back down to the sandbox, where the kids dug for necklaces, rings, and gold doubloons.)

We had a treasure map cake (with more gold doubloons).  We all had a great time.
