This morning we welcomed Evelyn Elizabeth to our family. She was born at 5:48 this morning. We arrived on the birthing pavilion at 5:15, so we weren't in the hospital long before she arrived. She is 8 lbs 10 ounces and 19.5 inches long. She has a full head of dark brown hair and reminds us so much of Charlotte when she was born that we keep accidentally calling her Charlotte.
Big sister Charlotte loves to hold little Evelyn.
We are overjoyed to finally meet Evelyn. Although she arrived eleven days late, we believe that Evelyn was being considerate in waiting until her mommy got over her terrible cold. She is a lovely baby.
