Merry Christmas

We've had a lovely and relaxing Christmas Day.  The kids slept past 8:30, which was wonderful.  They were excited to see all the presents, and Charlotte wondered how the reindeer got inside to eat the carrot.  Evelyn was excited by all the presents.  She wanted to climb on them and tear at the wrapping paper.

Alistair asked Santa for the Lego Space Shuttle (before he knew that we were going to see the real space shuttle at Cape Canaveral).  He was pretty excited when he opened it.

The weather has been unseasonably warm (due to an El Nino).  Yesterday it was in the 60's and today it was in the 40's.  Charlotte had asked Santa for a stroller that went outside, so it was a perfect day to test it out.  Lauren's old Bitty Baby, now Charlotte's, went for a ride.  Then Colin took the kids on a bike ride on the rail trail to the CCBA playground.

We had a yummy ham dinner complete with Christmas crackers and silly hats.
