Evelyn's First Walk Outside

The weather this winter has been so strange.  Here it is the last day in February and the little snow that we've had is pretty much gone, the high was nearly 50 degrees, and yet it was cold enough a few days ago to make snow, so the kids had their lessons.  While they were skiing, I took Evelyn for her first walk outside.  It was so fun to watch her discovering the world.  She bent down to play with the grit in the driveway, was puzzled as to why the aggregate in the sidewalk asphalt was stuck down, and picked up little bits of grass and seed pods in the lawn.  Needless to say, it took about an hour to walk around the block.
