Alistair participated in his first wedding - the wedding of the letters Q and U. Alistair was an usher, escorting a maid of honor down the isle, along with another usher. The ceremony was held in the gym with several classes of first and second graders attending. After the vows (sprinkled with a lot of of words that begin with the letter Q of course), the bride danced the first dance while the groom played a pink guitar. Then a lot of the kids danced to Celebration and YMCA. Afterwards, Alistair's class enjoyed cake.
