Alumni Parade

The alumni parade is my favorite parade of the year.  It's just pure fun and it conveniently goes right in front of our house.  This year's theme was movies.  The floats included Stagecoach (1966), Fiddler on the Roof (1971), King Kong (1976), Stripes (1981), Little Shop of Horrors (1986), 101 Dalmatians (1996),  and Star Wars (2016).

 

The kids were excited because the people in the parade threw candy and passed out ice pops and balloons.  Evelyn was a bit scared of the trucks, but she spotted a baby riding in the fire engine.
