First Ice Skating Lesson

The kids have been wanting to skate at the outdoor rinks not far from our house.  Those rinks are a bit tricky for new learners because the ice is bumpy (no zamboni) and there are no sides to steady yourself.  So we signed the girls up for ice skating lessons.  Unfortunately, there was only one space in the class for Alistair and Charlotte's age group, so we signed Charlotte up because she has been wanting to take ice skating lessons for a while.  Evelyn has a cold so she stayed home with Colin and watched Zootopia. 

After Charlotte's lesson, Alistair and I joined her on the ice and skated laps.  This was Alistair's first time on the ice.  He did great.
