Today met up with Alison and her two boys at Hildene in Vermont. Hildene was the summer home of Robert Todd Lincoln, Abraham Lincoln's son and chairman of the Pullman Company. A couple of weeks ago, they opened an exhibit of a wooden Pullman carriage that was built in 1888, used by President McKinley, restored in 1903 and used by Theodore Roosevelt's campaign in 1912.
The boys enjoyed running through the woods, the train, the goats at the farm, and the kittens at the farm. Afterwards we had lunch in Manchester and hung out in the children's section of the bookstore.
