This has been an unusually warm winter for New England. Last winter, our neighbor had to hire a payloader to move the snow away from the side of their driveway because the mound of snow was so high. Last February we didn't play outside much. There was too much snow for a pregnant woman to shovel and therefore Alistair couldn't even walk around our backyard. Today it felt like it was late March, not the first day of February. Alistair pushed his dump truck around the yard, and we tried to resusitate our sad snowman.
