Alistair and Charlotte are already fighting over the old fashioned bird whistle from Grandpa. Alistair is excited to build the birdhouse from Grandpa. He is also excited to fly his new kite and play Hoot, Owl, Hoot.
Alistair also loved his dinosaur digging kit from Auntie Lauren. He has helped his friend Ben dig for dinosaurs, now he has his own.
We bought Alistair some Lego (not that he needs anymore at this point) and some Lego base plates to help build his Lego city.
Charlotte drew Alistair some lovely pictures. (Her arm is in her sling under her favorite 3 shirt.)
Alistair's main gift from us is a new bicycle. He is way too big for the little 12" that he has been riding, so he now has a 20" bike that he picked out and rode home from Omer and Bob's.
Alistair spent the rest of the afternoon building Lego. For dinner, Alistair wanted to go to Sushi Ya in Hanover. He also wanted cupcakes with sprinkles and a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle theme (which is funny because he never has seen the show but just heard kids talking about it at school). So we had cupcakes while a severe thunderstorm threw down rain and put on a spectacular light show outside.
