When we asked Alistair what he wanted to do on his birthday, he immediately asked to ride the train by the mini golf place like last year. So we packed a picnic lunch and drove up to the White Mountains. We picnicked in the Pemigewasset River in Woodstock, New Hampshire. We weren't sure if we would be able to since it was under a flood warning yesterday with the thunderstorms, but it was fine. Alistair and Charlotte had fun dropping sticks in the river and watching them float on the rapids.
After lunch we went to play mini golf in Lincoln. The golf course has a hobo railroad theme like the train. Alistair loves mini golf and was excited to play. Evelyn had a blast too.
Then it was time to ride the train. We ate some ice creams and a clown made some balloon animals and a flower.
At home it was time for dinner (pizza from Ziggy's), cake and ice cream. Followed by opening presents. He had a great day!
