When we Skyped with Malcolm and Lucy last weekend, they said that they were going to have a special Valentines celebration with "Casa de Malcolm". They were going to have menu's and Malcolm was going to be the waiter. We thought that this was such a cute idea that we decided to dress up fancy for dinner too.
I thought about digging out some old bridesmaid dresses, but in the end wore my (much more easily accessible) Queen of Hearts costume.
We had a fresh fruit started (yes, served in a teacup) and ham, scalloped potatoes, veggies and fresh bread for dinner. We had our decorated shortbread cookies for dessert.
