Colin asked the kids if they wanted to go downhill skiing or cross country skiing, and Alistair replied right away that he wanted to go cross country skiing. The girls agreed. It might be Alistair's last chance because he has to return his skis to the ski coach in a few days. The weather is also turning a bit more unpredictable as we head into March. We've had an unusually warm January with not much snow, so we don't know how much longer we'll be able to ski.
I continue to be impressed by Charlotte and Evelyn in learning how to cross country ski. We took them on the same loop that we went on last weekend, and then we took them on a new loop that had some more hills. They went up the hills no problem and skied down them with confidence.
Alistair skate skied today so he did laps on the trails and would occasionally zip past us or give Charlotte tips on how to navigate downhill turns.
