Tonight, Alistair's school held an international festival. Alistair's class, lead by Miss Aileen and Miss Amy, celebrated Brazil. The kids wore little bags (made by one of the mothers, who is from Brazil), and they wore ribbons from their waists or shorts. They sand a little song holding Brazilian flags and then paraded around the school with little umbrellas from Brazil. Alistair was very silly the whole time. Afterwards we tasted some Brazilian snacks - cheese, and crackers with guava paste - and then went to the the other classes to sample their snacks.
