Today we went to the Museum of Science and Industry. For Alistair, the highlight of our visit was the large model train layout depicting Chicago, Seattle and in between. (Before we could see the layout, we had to get past the real steam train you can see in the picture below. Alistair was not convinced it wasn't going to move, so I had to carry him until we were alongside it.)
Colin met us at lunchtime. Alistair excitedly showed him the train layout and the cable car that you can climb into.
After lunch we climbed on the farm vehicles, including the large combine harvester (below). We stopped briefly at the fairy castle and a children's play area. We also went to see the United Boeing 727 as well as the baby chicks. Alistair had a great time and fell asleep in the car on the drive home. So did baby Charlotte.
