Colin took the day off today, and some what last minute, we decided to go to Billings Farm. We had a picnic lunch and then the kids played in the sandbox. Funny, none of us had ever noticed that sand box before. After lunch we went to see the sheep and learned about horses, and even pet Tom (the Belgian horse).
We went to see the cows. Charlotte and I watched a woman feed the cows. Charlotte was impressed. "They're having lunch? They're licking it!"
Billings farm is lovely this time of year with all the fall color. It is just too bad the government is shut down and we can't go for a walk to the pogue.
