Hike in Farnum Hill

Columbus Day weekend is typically the peak of the fall foliage season. The leaves seemed to change a little early this year.  There are already a lot of leaves on the ground.  The Moses's beautiful red maple tree is nearly bare.  We went for a hike in the woods in Farnum Hill.  The kids had a great time finding acorns, walking sticks, and pine branches (the latter which Alistair was calling the flag of China for some unknown reason).  We wondered why we don't hike there more often.
