Today we went to Cedar Circle Farm's 11th annual pumpkin festival. The event is similar to the strawberry festival with live music, entertainment and activities for the kids, great local food, wagon rides, and a guarantee to see at least a half a dozen families you know. The weather couldn't have been nicer. The kids liked picking out their pumpkins, and Alistair like playing in the corn palace.
Green Mountain Railway also do train rides to and from the pumpkin patch. We didn't ride the train, but we did see it on the drive home. After we passed it, we stopped to let it pass us. We did that again before finally passing the train as it went into a cutting.
