A Scavenger Hunt Surprise

We have been planning a trip to California without telling the kids.  We have packed in secret, surreptitiously had the kids try on their summer sandals, and, and booked everything without them knowing anything about the trip.  Our flights were today.  We revealed our trip via a scavenger hunt.  Charlotte seemed a bit confused and even upset that we were going, but once we got going, she was very excited.

We took two flight, changing at Midway, where Evelyn ran from one end of the terminal to the other and back and back again, riding every moving sidewalk.
