Charlotte's First Haircut

Today we finally cut Charlotte's hair. We hadn't cut it up until now because Charlotte (and I admit me as well) didn't want to cut off the curl.  She also likes it long, and I think was afraid to get it cut.  She would be in near tears whenever I brought it up.  But after a few months of my pointing out the split ends and telling her it would look more beautiful cut, she consented.

She was worried about the shampoo.  She politely and repeatedly asked the stylist not to get water in her ears.

Since we were going to gymnastics, the stylist did a French braid.  So, we'll see tomorrow how it looks down.
