California Adventure and Disneyland

First day at Disneyland!  We started by visiting California Adventure.  Alistair was very excited to ride the Cars ride and see Radiator Springs.  The Cars ride (Radiator Springs Racers) is very popular, so our Fast Passes weren't until after lunch.  That was okay because there were lots of other things to do.  We met Nick from Zootopia and we went on some rides - the Little Mermaid's Undersea Adventure, the Golden Zephyr, Goofy's Sky School, Mickey's Fun Wheel, and King Triton's Carousel.

After lunch at the Pacific Wharf we headed to Radiator Springs.  Disney is amazing.  They created Radiator Springs exactly like it is in the movie, so you really feel like you are in the movie.  The manhole covers are even Radiator Springs manhole covers.  Incredible.

And who happened to drive down the main street? Tow Mater!  We got a picture with him a the Cozy Cone Motel.

The Radiator Springs Racers ride was tons of fun.  The kids were a little scared of the inside, dark parts of the ride, but overall loved it.  On our way over to Disneyland, we saw Mickey Mouse as part of a song and dance show out of the Street Car.

Who did we meet on our way into Disneyland? Cruella DeVille!  She was great fun!

We enjoyed some ice cream and root beer floats while watching the parade on Main Street.  Then we went to visit the princesses.  We were hoping to see Aurora, but unfortunately she was not there.  We saw Cinderella (Evelyn was super excited), Eleanor of Avalon (who the kids didn't know), Tiana, Snow White, and Arial.  Evelyn was in heaven.  Charlotte gave the princesses leaves that she has collected outside.

We had a little rest while watching a great show about Rapunzel.  We were still a bit jet lagged, and  Charlotte fell asleep in the stroller.  I went with Alistair and Evelyn on It's a Small World.  Evelyn loved it.  She couldn't stay seated and just looked in amazing and jumped up and down with excitement.  Then she fell asleep in the Ergo about five minutes after we got off the ride.  We caught a few minutes of the electrical light parade before grabbing some food and heading back to the hotel to rest up for tomorrow.
