Malcolm and Lucy moved from Leeds to Otley last year. Our cottage in the Dales is not too far, so we went to visit them there and see their new house. Otley was having a food festival, so we were lucky enough to sample some delicious local cheeses, biscuits, scotch eggs, pork pies, boar sausage, and brownies.
We brought our goodies down to a park along the River Wharfe. The kids were excited to hang out with their cousin. After our picnic, they played at the great playground there.
The kids loved this water play structure with an Archimedes screw to bring water up from a bucket to a platform where you can play withe the water down a chute.
