In celebration of our 12 wedding anniversary, we thought it would be to go to the Fairlee drive in. They were having a double feature, and the first movie was Disney/Pixar's Brave. We packed a picnic dinner, picked up some more nibbles from the Co-op and drove up to Fairlee. The movie started at dusk (which turned out to be 9pm) so we had plenty of time for dinner, dancing, and playing a bit of soccer. As soon as the movie started, Alistair said he wanted to go home. Charlotte didn't want to sleep. She was more interested in the moon, which she kept pointing to. Near the end of the film we smelled a skunk, so thought it was best to get into the car. Charlotte fell asleep straight away. Alistair sat on my lap in the passenger seat. It was the kids first time watching a movie in a theater, if you can call a drive in a theater. It was a beautiful evening. Alistair fell asleep in the car on the way home.
