Today we finally visited the American Precision Museum. We've been meaning to go with my Dad for years. They currently have an excellent exhibit about Vermont's involvement in the Civil War, including how the area's manufacturing was involved in the war effort as well as how the war affected Vermonters. The exhibit included personal letters, photographs, clothing, a writing box, a surgeon's saw, spurs, a blood stained bible, and even a magnolia leaf written on by a soldier when in the south and sent to his girl back home. Charlotte was more interested in playing with some of the things that had been made on the 3D printer. Grandpa enjoyed investigating some of the machinery.
Charlotte also enjoyed drawing at the drafting table. After the museum, we had lunch at the Windsor Diner.
