The Glory Days of the Railroad is one of Alistair's most favorite events. We were excited that Grandpa could go with us this year. Lucky Grandpa got to ride the little train around the festival with Charlotte and Alistair.
As in years past, they had a little steam train the kids could ride. Charlotte was scared of the steam, so just Alistair rode it. He was very excited.
The main event of course was a ride on the Green Mountain Railroad from White River Junction to Norwich Vermont. We ate our lunch as we watched the trees and the Connecticut River go past our window.
Alistair had great fun bouncing in the bouncy castle and seeing some old cars. Alistair and Charlotte had fun playing farmer and sitting up on the tractors.
