Air and Space Hall at MOSI

Today we returned to the Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester to see the airplanes.  The Air and Space Hall was closed last week.  Below is the Avro Shackleton.  It was built in 1954 and was designed to locate and attack submarines and for search and rescue. It could fly for up to 24 hours.

After visiting the museum, we took the tram into the city centre to wander around.
