Today we went to Astley Park in Chorley. We had lunch in the cafe and then wandered around the park. The park is in the grounds of Astley Hall, which has parts built in the 16th century, but is mostly mid 17th century.
We've fed the ducks there before, and they must be used to being fed, because they were not shy in coming right up to Alistair and Charlotte.
We walked up to the playground and went in the pet center, where they have rabbits, snakes, a tortoise, and guinea pigs. Charlotte was pretty excited, and was telling us all about it.
After our visit to the park, we walked back into Chorley to have a look around the market. On Market Street, we saw one of the Olympic Golden Postbox. This one is in honor of Bradley Wiggins Gold in the Mens Cycling Time Trial.
