Today, on Grandad's 70th Birthday, we went for a walk up Mam Tor in the Peak District. Mam Tor is the site of an Iron Age fort. From the top, you have a great view of Kinder Scout and the Edale Valley. Colin and I had hiked up here about 11 years ago.
It was very windy up top, but we were glad that it was not raining.
After our hike, we enjoyed a hearty meal at The Castle pub in Castleton.
